Clasificadora Marítima del Caribe, is the first national classification society approved by the Venezuelan maritime authority to issue class certificates to Venezuelan flag vessels, under its own classification rules in strict compliance with the requirements established by the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).
founded by a group of Venezuelan professionals of the sea together with naval architects and engineers, all with vast professional experience, with the aim of enhancing maritime safety, environmental protection and safeguarding human life at sea.
Our classification rules are in compliance with the most recent resolutions of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to keep our clients' vessels in optimal conditions of seaworthiness and safety.
